Job Overview:

Thie Senior Analyst, Real Estate Investment Research supports the firm's real estate research efforts across public and private equity and debt investment platforms. The focus is on analyzing real estate markets, developing insights to support investment strategy, and producing clear, decision-relevant research for internal teams and clients.

The Senior Analyst will work across property sectors and global markets, combining data analysis with market knowledge to assess trends, identify risks and opportunities, and support portfolio positioning.

Responsibilities:

Real Estate Market Research & Investment Analysis

• Track and analyze U.S. and global real estate markets, including property sectors, capital markets, and macroeconomic trends
• Evaluate real estate fundamentals such as supply/demand, rent growth, occupancy, and capital flows
• Develop models, forecasts, and analytical frameworks to support investment strategy
• Perform ad hoc research on real estate markets, sectors, and investment themes

Research Output & Communication

• Contribute to research publications, white papers, and market commentary
• Assist in preparing investment strategy materials and presentations for internal and client audiences
• Translate data and analysis into clear, actionable insights

Investment Strategy & Team Support

• Support portfolio analysis, strategy development, and new investment initiatives
• Collaborate with investment teams across public and private platforms
• Maintain and enhance datasets used for real estate research and reporting

Client & Firm Support

• Assist with client-facing materials, including presentations, RFPs, and DDQs
• Respond to ad hoc research requests from investment and client teams
• Contribute to broader team and firm initiatives and special projects

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related area
• 3+ years of experience in real estate research, investment analysis, or related role
• Strong understanding of real estate markets, along with core economic and financial concepts
• Passionate about investing; experience with various asset classes and/or economic analysis
• Experience with various asset classes and/or economic analysis
• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, market trends, and investment implications
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organization and time management skills
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with real estate data sources a plus
