Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements across various entities. Month-End & Year-End Close: Take an active role in driving the monthly and annual close processes, ensuring all financial data is reported accurately, on time, and in full compliance with accounting policies. Bookkeeping & Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date books across assigned entities, recording daily transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the general ledger is clean and current at all times. Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the preparation and ongoing management of budgets, analyze variances, and deliver financial insights that inform decision-making and cost control. Compliance & Internal Controls: Monitor and maintain internal controls to ensure adherence to tax regulations, financial policies, and industry standards, coordinating with external auditors and managing tax-related activities as needed. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate existing workflows and systems, identify efficiencies, and implement improvements that leverage technology and automation to elevate accuracy and scalability. What We're Looking For Experience: 4+ years of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to private equity, real state, family office, or private wealth environments. Big 4 or public accounting background a strong plus. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting platforms such as QuickBooks. Comfort navigating multiple systems and a genuine enthusiasm for leveraging new tools and technologies.
