USAA roles may offer remote or hybrid flexibility for active-duty military spouses consistent with applicable policy and business needs.The OpportunityAs a dedicated Product Management Director - Credit Card you will formulate product/sales strategy recommendations based on analysis of profitability, competitiveness and sales performance for the product life cycle. Compile, analyze and interpret data to make strategic and tactical recommendations or decisions pertaining to sales/product performance. Responsible for defining the business questions and providing insights to improve business performance. Support the maintenance of existing products and/or may lead in the development and launch of less complex, new products with channel partners.What you'll do:Leverage internal and external data and member information to support formulation of product strategy and enhance competitive intelligence.Develop product dashboards and metrics recommendations in support of analyzing and evaluating strategic performance.Partner with Marketing to define go-to-market and value proposition strategy of the product/feature.Develop recommendations to launch new products and the evaluation and decision to buy/build or ally.Act as product SME on features and services and collaborates with business partners to provide recommendations.Analyze and evaluates product performance metrics to form recommendations regarding market opportunities and product enhancements.Lead efforts to expand or change existing product features.Contribute to decisions regarding product pricing and profitability.Identify and evaluates potential providers for alliance relationships.Provide support regarding all aspects of Product Life Cycle.Approve and provides support in developing, editing and distributing product communications.Coordinate with relevant control partners (to include Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management) to ensure product offerings are designed, implemented and managed in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.Contribute to the overall strategy of the business and collaborates with alliance to develop product strategy.Interpret performance results to inform product or sales forecast and planning.Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.What you have:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or Statistics; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.8 years of relevant industry experience in Actuary, Underwriting, Marketing or Sales/Service or Finance/Accounting Operations or Financial Services.3 years of product management, or similar strategic management experience (similar experience includes direct support in managing product performance).2 years of Data Visualization experience (i.e.Tableau).Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (i.e.FDIC, CFPB, OCC).Expert experience in creating product briefings and presenting to executive leadership.Experienced in market research to create product roadmap, make product decisions and iterate rapidly.Knowledge of applicable product related regulations, and risk and compliance requirements.Knowledge of federal laws, rules, and regulations to include: TILA/REG Z, SCRA/MLA (given our demographic), Reg B, FCRA, UDAAP.What sets you apart:Strong quantitative foundation — statistical/econometric modeling, elasticity modeling, financial or credit analysis, and forecasting — applied with rigor but always in service of a clear, decision-ready recommendation.Exceptional communication and storytelling ability — a demonstrated track record of distilling highly complex analysis into simple visuals and narratives that resonate with senior leadership, governance/approval bodies, and non-technical partners.Demonstrated informal leadership — able to set direction, build consensus, and influence outcomes across marketing, digital, legal, compliance, finance, and credit risk partners without formal authority over those teams.Demonstrated ability to independently translate an ambiguous, forward-looking vision into a concrete, sequenced roadmap — including a structured test-and-learn agenda — with minimal established precedent or playbook to draw from. Comfortable setting strategic direction with a high degree of autonomy and ownership.High intellectual curiosity and comfort operating in ambiguity, balancing rigorous quantitative rigor with pragmatic, business-ready judgment.Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $143,320 - $273,930.USAA does not provide visa sponsorship for this role. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
