As a Food Assembly Associate, you will have a direct impact on airline customer satisfaction and be part of our Air Fayre team responsible for getting products ready for flights out of LAX. Work on weekends and holidays may be required. You must be able to work in a cold room environment of 36 - 41 degrees and occasionally enter freezer storage. Daily schedules will vary based on the needs of the business. Job duties include, but are not limited to:Assembles food components according to airline specifications, boarding check-sheets, and assembly diagramsKeeps production areas in compliance with food safety and sanitation standardsHandles various allergen products such as cooked pork, poultry, beef, fish, dairy, nutsCompletes activity logs (i.e., temperature, sanitizing, waste, equipment breakage logs)Comply with hygiene, jewelry policy, and use of PPE requirementsOther duties as assignedPosition Requirements: Qualifications and Skill Requirements:1 year of previous airline catering or food production/assembly work requiredMust be able to work in an operation that is 24/7, 365-day environment and be flexible with shift/day off changes as needs ariseAbility to follow directions accurately and work with a sense of urgencyMust be able to obtain a food handler cardMust be able to read and write in EnglishEffective communication with supervisors and co-workersReliable attendance and ability to work overtime on occasionMust be able to work in a cold room environment of 36 - 41 degrees and occasionally enter freezer storageMust have physical ability to complete job duties, which includes standing for long periods, bending, and repetitive movementsMust be able to lift, push, pull, and move product/equipment 25-50lbs frequentlyRequirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Stand for Shift Duration, Must be at least 18 years old.
