Position Summary

We’re seeking a Director, PMO to build the project-management, business-transformation, and management-reporting capabilities that will help Collision Partners scale effectively. This is a high-ownership role for someone who can operate as both a strategic partner and a hands-on executor, translating priorities into clear plans, accountable owners, measurable outcomes, and sustained execution. 

A significant early responsibility will be establishing and leading Collision Partners’ Integration PMO. Working closely with the Operational Integration Leader and functional workstream owners, the Director will maintain the consolidated integration roadmap, track milestones, budgets, dependencies, risks, decisions, synergies, and exit readiness, provide executive-level reporting, and ensure issues are surfaced and resolved before they jeopardize integration outcomes. 

Beyond acquisitions, the Director will support enterprise-wide initiatives across Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Recruiting, Technology, Business Development, and other functions. The role will help structure complex problems, drive cross-functional execution, improve accountability, and ensure important initiatives are fully implemented and sustained. 

The Director will also help strengthen Collision Partners’ business intelligence and management-reporting capabilities by defining KPIs, improving dashboards and reporting, structuring analytical questions, and helping leadership gather and translate data into actionable decisions. 

Said simply, the mission of this role is to drive the successful execution of Collision Partners’ most important cross-functional initiatives while building the systems, accountability, and analytical discipline needed to scale. Success means turning priorities into measurable business outcomes, keeping critical projects on track, surfacing and resolving risks early, and improving how the organization executes over time. 

Total Compensation: $140,000 to $200,000 yearly 

Location: Raleigh desired, but open to remote candidate

Key Success Criteria  

• Critical cross-functional initiatives are clearly defined, actively managed, and consistently delivered against agreed objectives, timelines, and outcomes. 
• The Integration PMO operates effectively, with clear visibility into milestones, budgets, dependencies, risks, decisions, synergies, and exit readiness across each acquisition. 
• Risks, missed commitments, and cross-functional bottlenecks are identified early, escalated appropriately, and driven to resolution before they materially impact outcomes. 
• Functional leaders have clear visibility into project status, priorities, accountability, and decisions, with reporting that is concise, accurate, and actionable. 
• Business processes become more scalable and repeatable, reducing dependence on individual heroics and improving consistency across the organization. 
• Operators and functional leaders have faster access to accurate, decision-useful data, enabling quicker and more informed decision-making across the business. 
• New processes and initiatives are implemented and adopted in practice, not simply designed or documented. 
• PMO discipline creates greater execution speed and accountability without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy. 
• Functional leaders view the Director, PMO as a force multiplier who helps them achieve better outcomes while preserving clear ownership and decision rights. 
• Lessons from major projects and integrations are captured and used to improve future execution, playbooks, reporting, and operating processes. 

Qualifications  

• 8+ years of experience in program management, business transformation, strategic operations, consulting, business intelligence, or related roles. 
• Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from planning through implementation and measurable results. 
• Strong project and program management capabilities, including governance, milestone tracking, dependency management, risk management, executive reporting, and escalation. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems, identify root causes, synthesize information, and translate analysis into action and recommendations. 
• Hands-on technical proficiency with work management and BI tools (e.g., monday.com, Smartsheet, Power BI, Tableau, advanced Excel) and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint).
• Experience building and improving scalable business processes, operating routines, and management systems. 
• Strong business intelligence and reporting orientation, including experience defining KPIs, building dashboards, developing reporting frameworks, and translating business needs into data requirements. 
• Proven ability to drive accountability and execution without direct authority, working effectively across functions and levels of the organization. 
• Strong change-management skills, with experience driving adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working. 
• Highly hands-on and comfortable operating in a fast-growing environment with limited infrastructure; willing to personally build plans, analyses, reporting, and process tools as needed. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with executives, functional leaders, and front-line teams. 
• Strong organizational judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred but not required. 
• Experience in multi-site, acquisitive, automotive, services, or other operationally complex businesses is preferred.
