Senior .Net Payments Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior .Net Payments Engineer in Riverwoods, IL.

Overview:
Join a team building a modern, scalable payments platform that powers secure transactions across retail, digital, mobile, and customer service channels. We're looking for a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex integration challenges, building reliable systems, and delivering high-impact payment solutions at scale.

REQUIREMENTS:
* 8+ years of software engineering experience
* Experience supporting a payment platform like WorldPay, Paypal, etc.
* Experience building and consuming REST APIs
* Experience with on prem databases
* Hands-on experience with third-party integrations
* Familiarity with payment, transaction, or financial systems
* Strong C# and .NET/.NET Core development skills
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
