Immediate opening for an  Inside Sales Representative in  El Monte, CA who possesses:

• 3 to 5 years of inside sales experience in a B2B environment
• Experience selling or supporting electro-mechanical components, mechanical components, technical products, or products requiring blueprint/math understanding
• Excellent phone presentation, phone etiquette, and customer service skills
• Strong ERP, MRP, and general computer skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred

 

 

FULL DESCRIPTION:   We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support B2B parts sales for a U.S. manufacturer in the food production machinery space. This role is responsible for assisting customers with inquiries and purchases, supporting parts sales, communicating customer needs with internal departments, maintaining stock-level awareness, and providing timely, professional service by phone, email, and in person. The ideal candidate will have B2B inside sales experience, strong phone etiquette, technical product experience, ERP/MRP system skills, and the ability to support customers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

 

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Providing outstanding customer service to B2B customers by phone, email, and in person
• Assisting customers with product inquiries, parts needs, purchases, order questions, and follow-up
• Supporting parts sales for food production machinery and related components
• Communicating customer needs clearly with internal departments
• Maintaining awareness of stock levels and coordinating with internal teams as needed
• Using ERP or MRP systems to review customer, order, inventory, and product information
• Supporting timely customer responses and helping keep customers operational
• Utilizing excellent phone etiquette and professional communication throughout the sales process
• Working with customers who may need technical support related to parts, components, drawings, measurements, or machinery needs
• Collaborating with team members to achieve sales goals
• Enhancing the overall customer service and sales experience
• Maintaining accurate records, notes, orders, and follow-up activity
• Working effectively in a fast-paced B2B manufacturing environment
• Supporting customer satisfaction through clear communication, follow-through, and attention to detail
• Performing other duties as assigned

 

The selected candidate will also possess:

• 3 to 5 years of inside sales experience required
• B2B sales experience required
• Customer service experience required
• Experience working with electro-mechanical components, mechanical components, technical products, or machinery-related parts preferred
• Experience in a technical sales environment preferred
• Experience working with blueprints, measurements, math, or technical product information preferred
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred
• Food production machinery or equipment experience preferred
• ERP system experience required
• MRP system experience preferred
• Strong computer skills required
• Excellent phone presentation required
• Excellent phone etiquette required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Strong customer service skills required
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment required
• Strong attention to detail required
• Ability to maintain professionalism while managing multiple customer needs
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal departments
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred
• Ability to work onsite in El Monte, CA

 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods while reviewing customer information, entering orders, checking inventory, using ERP/MRP systems, and communicating with customers
• Ability to communicate by phone, email, and in person throughout the workday
• Ability to review customer records, product information, order details, inventory information, technical documents, and computer screens for extended periods
• Ability to use hands and fingers for typing, data entry, phone use, documentation, and standard office tasks
• Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout office, sales, warehouse, or manufacturing areas as needed
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move standard office files, product documents, samples, or small parts as needed
• Ability to maintain professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail while supporting customers, sales activity, and internal communication

 

Salary Range: $24 to $26/hour
