Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Customer Service in Marion, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and report security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and embraces innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in daily activity reports and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
