Payroll Clerk / HR Support Pneumatic & Hydraulic Company is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk / HR Support professional to join our team in Broussard, Louisiana. This position is responsible for processing payroll accurately and confidentially while providing administrative support to the Human Resources department. Responsibilities Process bi‑weekly payroll accurately and on time Maintain employee payroll records and documentation Calculate payroll deductions, garnishments, and 401(k) contributions Prepare payroll reports and reconcile payroll‑related accounts Research and resolve payroll discrepancies Assist with accounts payable functions as needed Support HR administrative processes and employee record maintenance Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and employee information Assist with cash flow updates and payroll‑related reporting Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Previous payroll, bookkeeping, accounting, or HR administrative experience preferred Knowledge of payroll laws, payroll processing, and basic accounting principles Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines Strong communication and teamwork skills Schedule Flexible schedule 30-40 hours per week Monday-Friday Additional hours may be required during payroll processing periods Compensation $20-$24 per hour, depending on experience Location Broussard, LA If you have payroll, accounting, or HR administrative experience and are looking for a flexible opportunity with a growing company, we'd love to hear from you.
