Accounts Payable Administrator

Ideal Steel is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Administrator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices while supporting overall financial operations. Key Responsibilities Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and efficiently Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices (3‑way match) Review and reconcile vendor statements Prepare and process weekly check runs/electronic payments Maintain organized and accurate AP records Assist with month‑end close activities related to AP Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Qualifications 2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment Strong communication and problem‑solving skills Compensation Hourly Rate: $17 – $20 , depending on experience Benefits & Perks Paid Time Off (PTO) 10 days annually (accrued at 3.08 hours bi‑weekly) Paid Holidays 8 company‑paid holidays per year: New Year’s Day Good Friday Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving Day Day After Thanksgiving (half day) Christmas Day Benefits Eligible to participate in Ideal Steel benefits (administered by Ambassador Enterprises) Coverage available the first of the month following 60 days of employment 401(k) Eligible the first of the month following 6 months of employment Company match of 3% #J-18808-Ljbffr
