Job Description
Title: Occupational Therapist - Acute Care

Schedule: Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks; Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) or foreign equivalent
- Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least two years of occupational therapy experience (preferred)
- 1 year Acute Care Experience required
- ICU experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to assess patient needs and ensure quality standards are met.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessed needs.
- Implement therapy interventions utilizing appropriate treatment protocols.
- Communicate care and discharge plans with relevant parties.
- Complete accurate clinical documentation within deadlines.
- Supervise assigned assistants and support team collaboration.

Compliance / Notes:
- Mandatory vaccinations as a condition of employment; medical and religious exemptions may apply.
- Weekend rotation may be required.
