Job Entry/Completion - Planner

Temp to Hire

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 

Summary: The purpose of this position is to guarantee the precision of information during the job entry and the job completion process, facilitating seamless manufacturing.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure information transferred over from the order entry team is accurate.
• Review and revise process in jobs prior to distributing job travelers to the manufacturing team.
• Review the schedule to ensure the manufacturing team will have ample time to complete jobs.
• Review and ensure that tolerances as well as times are met, prior to completing the jobs.
• Creating Lot and Heat numbers for completed jobs and ensuring that the spec requirements are met.
• Follow up on jobs and ensure completion in a timely manner.
• Quote lead times and costs for any required subcontract work.
• Create, submit and follow up on purchase orders to any subcontract vendors.
• Confirm cost upon receipt of any subcontract purchase orders and include in the manufacturing process.

Qualifications and Experience:
• High School Diploma and/or equivalent experience.
• Ability to pass in-house test.
• Strong computer skills, specifically Power Point, Word, and Excel.
• Experience working in manufacturing industry.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Has a results oriented, positive, creative, responsible approach to projects.

• Excellent interpersonal skills dealing with a range of internal enquiries
