Accountant

We’re partnering with a growing organization in Immokalee that is looking for a strong, self-driven Senior Accountant to lead a high-impact financial cleanup and reconciliation project. What You’ll Be Doing Review and assess historical financial records for accuracy and completeness Perform heavy account reconciliations across general ledger, bank accounts, and sub‑ledgers Identify, investigate, and resolve accounting discrepancies and unreconciled balances Prepare adjusting journal entries and supporting documentation Clean up and normalize chart of accounts and financial records Partner with AP, AR, payroll, and internal stakeholders to resolve outstanding issues Support audit readiness and provide documentation as needed Track project progress and create summary reports on findings and resolutions Recommend process improvements to strengthen accounting controls and reduce future discrepancies What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3–5+ years of accounting experience Prior experience with financial cleanup projects, reconciliations, audit support, or forensic accounting strongly preferred Strong understanding of GAAP and reconciliation best practices Ability to work through incomplete or disorganized financial records Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail Self‑motivated, organized, and able to work independently #J-18808-Ljbffr
