Overview Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This travel–temporary assignment starts 08/25/2026 for 13 weeks, with a weekly pay range of $2,787 to $2,909 and 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shifts are 3x12-hour nights on a rotating schedule, including weekends and call, in a hospital setting. The role supports L&D with intraoperative, PACU and postpartum care, providing couplet care for babies 32 weeks gestation and up. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,787–$2,909 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends and call rotation Start date: 08/25/2026 Work setting: hospital Responsibilities Deliver direct nursing care to laboring patients and newborns in an L&D setting, including OR, PACU, and postpartum care, with couplet care coordination Monitor maternal-fetal status, administer medications, support labor progression, and assist with deliveries, including cesarean sections when needed Care for newborns 32 weeks gestation and above; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and NICU as appropriate Collaborate with obstetric teammates; assume RN charge responsibilities as assigned; participate in call rotations Document care accurately in the electronic health record; provide patient and family education and discharge planning Maintain patient safety and apply evidence-based practices; contribute to quality and process improvement initiatives Requirements Current Colorado RN license or compact license to practice in Colorado AHA BLS and ACLS certifications NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and STABLE certifications RN Charge experience required Flu vaccine or proof of vaccination required Education: graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN licensure Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends and on-call rotation in a hospital environment Prior L&D experience in a high-acuity setting preferred; ability to care for newborns and mothers in a dynamic team environment Benefits and Support Dedicated travel and recruitment support throughout the assignment Credentialing and onboarding coordination to minimize start delays Opportunities for assignment extensions and ongoing placements with the same client 24/7 clinical and travel support from the staffing partner Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
