Marketing Strategist

We’re seeking a creative and commercially minded Marketing Strategist to join our team at the intersection of strategy, marketing and new business. This person will play a key role in shaping how we present King & Partners to prospective clients – helping them understand not simply what we do, but what we could do for them. Working closely with our strategy, creative, marketing and new business teams, the Marketing Strategist will develop compelling, tailored ideas that demonstrate a deep understanding of a client’s business, audience and opportunity. A particular focus will be on luxury, hospitality, real estate and lifestyle, where audiences are sophisticated, expectations are high and traditional marketing approaches often fall short. The ideal candidate understands how to engage high-net-worth audiences with intelligence and nuance, balancing brand, culture, storytelling, experience and performance without compromising the integrity of the brand. This person will report directly to the CEO and CCO.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop initial strategic marketing thinking and approaches for new business opportunities.
• Partner with New Business to develop presentations and scopes, estimates and SOWs for strategic engagements.
• Translate client challenges and business objectives into clear strategic opportunities and recommendations.
• Articulate K&P’s marketing capabilities, point of view and differentiation in compelling ways.
• Develop channel strategies across paid, owned and earned media, grounded in audience, objectives and business goals.
• Recommend marketing and media budget allocation, with a clear rationale for investment and expected impact.
• Bring a practical understanding of in-channel execution to ensure strategies are actionable and commercially viable.
• Develop compelling case studies that clearly articulate the challenge, strategy, execution and impact of K&P’s work.
• Develop audience insights, positioning, campaign territories, content strategies and go-to-market recommendations.
• Stay current on cultural, consumer, media and industry trends to inform K&P’s work and point of view.
• Present strategic thinking to clients, prospects and internal leadership.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 5+ years of experience in marketing.
• Proven ability to develop and present clear, compelling strategic thinking.
• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to turn insights into actionable recommendations.
• Strong commercial instincts and understanding of how strategy can drive business growth..
• Proven experience with luxury, hospitality, real estate and lifestyle brands.
• Excellent communication, organization and presentation skills.
• Curious, proactive and solutions-oriented, with a strong point of view and the flexibility to adapt.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience working in a similar agency environment.
• Familiarity with tools such as Pitch or Keynote.
• Experience with audience research, consumer insights or market intelligence platforms.

COMPENSATION

The compensation range for this position is between $100,000 – $150,000. The salary will commensurate with the candidate’s overall work experience.
