Veterinary Receptionist - Relief

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Stone Oak, TX We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to serve as the first BluePearl Associate that the client sees. Position Client Service Coordinator (Veterinary Receptionist) Work Schedule Relief Pay Starting point is dependent on experience and advancement through the CareerTrax leveling system. As a Veterinary Receptionist Greet and make friendly eye contact every time the hospital entry door opens, offering a warm and professional acknowledgment. Offer a friendly smile, strong eye contact, and an approachable demeanor. Be a compassionate listener. Speak clearly, slowly, and calmly in person and on the telephone in a way that clients easily understand. Assess immediately upon arrival each client’s rare needs, as well as the pet’s general condition. Determine whether an emergency arrival is a “stat” versus a “standard” emergency. Respond to non-patient calls or visitors and connect them to the appropriate team member. Confirm all appointments in advance, ensuring clients receive accurate information about preparing their pet for the appointment. Offer emotional support and resource materials to grieving clients in a compassionate and discreet manner. Serve as a liaison between clients and service agencies during handling of pet remains, ensuring a complete, accurate, and compassionate process.
