Available to use immediately upon accrual!12 Paid Holidays!Closed for a week during the winter holidays!PositionAs a Calibration Technician you will assist with maintaining the calibration system according to the specifications and Quality Management System of the plant.What you will do:Assists with the maintenance and development of calibration procedures and methods in compliance with AS9100, customer, and ISO 10012 requirements.Calibrates and/or services test and measurement equipment per written procedures.Maintaining calibration documentation and records in ERP database.Participate in the development of new, engineer-designed equipment requiring calibration.Assists in troubleshooting, repair and investigating problems with measurement and test equipment throughout the plant per written procedures.What you will need to be successful:Basic Mechanical testing skillsAdvanced blueprint skillsAdvanced math skillsAble to use hand inspection toolsAbility to interface with customers and regulatory agenciesKnowledge of specific computer applications, specifically ERP systemAble to support receiving inspection functions including raw material verification testing to process specificationsAbility to coordinate activities with other departments (production, maintenance, etc).Working ConditionsExposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levelsExposure to hazardous equipmentExposure to contaminantsUsually work indoors.
