EVENING COOK LOCATION: Holiday Inn Indianapolis Airport 5855 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46224 Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour Shift: Evening Shift Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Department: Food & Beverage / Kitchen Compensation $20.00 per hour Position Summary We are looking for a dependable and experienced Evening Cook to prepare quality meals and support smooth kitchen operations during the evening shift. The ideal candidate should have strong cooking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook food according to recipes, menu specifications, and hotel standards. Prepare ingredients and maintain an organized cooking station. Ensure food is cooked and held at proper temperatures. Maintain consistent food quality, taste, portion sizes, and presentation. Monitor food freshness and properly store and label food items. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Safely operate kitchen equipment and utensils. Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to management. Minimize food waste through proper preparation and portion control. Work closely with kitchen and Food & Beverage team members. Assist with kitchen closing duties, cleaning, and proper storage of food and equipment. Perform other duties assigned by the Chef or management. Qualifications Previous cooking experience in a hotel, restaurant, or commercial kitchen preferred. Knowledge of food preparation and food-safety practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move kitchen supplies. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Reliable attendance and professional work ethic. #J-18808-Ljbffr
