Executive Director

The client seeks an Executive Director who is community-connected and values-driven, committed to advancing equity and opportunity through arts and social justice education. The Executive Director will steward the organization’s mission, deepen a culture of equity and care, and guide the organization into its next phase of impact. The role is focused on working with Bronx youth, families, and schools to support pathways toward higher learning, creative careers, and social action. The Executive Director will partner with the Board, staff, and the wider community to sustain and deepen the organization’s impact. This leader should be grounded in justice and passionate about arts and education, with the ability to nurture artists, communities, and dreamers and to strengthen relationships across staff, teaching artists, school partners, alumni, parents, and neighbors. The position emphasizes leveraging the humanitarian power of arts and social justice education to build thriving and just communities. In this leadership role, the Executive Director is expected to help shape strategy, organizational culture, and mission delivery in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The client is also supported by a dedicated search process managed by an external partner, with communications handled confidentially and with a commitment to reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities who require assistance during the interest and interview request process.
