Automation Patching Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Automation Patching Engineer with 10+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure patching, automation, systems administration, and security practices. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform, Red Hat Linux, Windows Server, JBoss, Oracle Database, MQ, and enterprise patching technologies . The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, automating, testing, implementing, and troubleshooting patching solutions while following industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, build, test, automate, and troubleshoot enterprise patching solutions.

• Develop and maintain automated patching processes using Ansible Automation Platform .

• Manage patching activities across Linux and Windows Server environments .

• Support patching of JBoss, Oracle Database, MQ , and other enterprise technologies.

• Implement automation and scripting to improve patching efficiency and reliability.

• Develop and maintain IT standards, policies, procedures, and patching processes.

• Troubleshoot patching failures, system issues, and automation-related problems.

• Ensure patching activities align with security, compliance, and infrastructure best practices .

• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, application, and operations teams.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative automation solutions.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
