MUMPS Developer / M Programmer || Toronto, ON - Onsite || Fulltime FTE

We are seeking an experienced MUMPS Developer / M Programmer with strong hands-on experience developing, maintaining, enhancing, and supporting applications built using MUMPS (M Language) .

The ideal candidate will have strong programming and database skills, experience working with legacy enterprise applications, and the ability to troubleshoot and support business-critical systems. Experience in Healthcare, BFSI, Government, or large enterprise environments is highly preferred.

• Strong hands-on experience with MUMPS / M Programming Language .

• Experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing MUMPS applications .

• Strong understanding of MUMPS routines, globals, database structures, and application logic .

• Experience with application development, debugging, troubleshooting, and production support.

• Strong database and data management skills.

• Experience working with legacy applications and enterprise systems .

• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Experience with system integration, data migration, and application modernization.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance applications using MUMPS / M Language .

• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

• Develop, modify, optimize, and maintain MUMPS routines and database structures .

• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments.

• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for application and production issues.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and development best practices.

• Support application modernization and system integration initiatives.

• Assist with data migration, system upgrades, and application enhancement projects .

• Develop technical design documentation, unit test cases, deployment documentation, and support documentation.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA teams, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders .

• Provide production support for business-critical applications.

• Perform application performance analysis and optimization.

• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to solution development.

• Ensure applications meet quality, reliability, performance, and maintainability standards.

• Experience working in Healthcare, BFSI, Government, or Enterprise environments.

• Experience supporting large-scale legacy applications.

• Experience with application modernization and legacy system transformation.

• Experience with system integration and enterprise application interfaces.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
