Job Summary The Foundation Operations Coordinator plays a critical behind-the-scenes role in supporting the administrative, financial, and data operations of the Montefiore Nyack Foundation. As the Foundation grows in scope and impact, this flexible role ensures the timely entry of gifts, database hygiene, donor acknowledgment, invoice processing, and executive-level scheduling support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about mission-driven work. Essential Job Qualifications Education: A Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience: Prior experience in a nonprofit administrative/clerical role with experience in donor services, or development operations preferred. Proficiency with donor databases (Boomerang or similar), Microsoft Office Suite, and email/calendar tools (e.g., Outlook). Training/Certification: N/A Licensure: N/A Other: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and discretion with sensitive donor data. Respond to e-mails in a courteous manner, with-in twenty-four hours. APPEARANCE I will dress in a manner that reflects a professional and positive image of the hospital at all times. Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance which adheres to hospital dress code policy. Promote and adhere to Nyack Hospital's guidelines regarding a safe and clean work environment for employees, patients, families and visitors. RESPONSIVENESS I will demonstrate the ability to provide timely feedback and communication to patients, visitors, and coworkers. Respond to patient call lights and ask if I can assist. (No Pass Zone). Respond empathetically. Apologize for delays and concerns. EXCELLENCE IN SERVICE I will strive to ‘do my best everyday’ in exceeding customer expectations.
