Your Role in Healthcare

• Executing thorough patient evaluations, initiating diagnostic tests, and creating personalized treatment strategies
• Identifying and managing acute, chronic, or episodic conditions, either collaboratively with physicians or independently, depending on your credentials
• Providing education to patients and their families regarding wellness, prevention, and disease management
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapies in line with your practice scope

Academic Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Kansas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or another specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
