Water & Wastewater Engineer
A growing multidisciplinary engineering firm is seeking a Water & Wastewater Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to join its municipal utilities team. This is a hands-on design role focused on water and wastewater infrastructure projects throughout coastal Georgia and South Carolina.
Responsibilities:
- Design water distribution, gravity sewer, force mains, pump/lift stations, and treatment facility improvements
- Prepare hydraulic calculations, plan/profile drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports
- Develop designs and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Assist with permitting, agency coordination, RFIs, submittals, and construction-phase services
- Conduct site visits and communicate with clients, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- 3–5 years of water/wastewater design experience
- EIT certification or ability to pursue PE licensure
- Strong Civil 3D and technical design skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
