Details Inpatient rehabilitation unit at a ~500 bed Level 1 Trauma center 20-bed inpatient rehab unit with >50% neuro cases (CVA, TBI, nTBI, SCI), LE amputation, and multi-trauma patients Acute OT caseload of approximately 170 Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM Uses Epic for charting Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required Illinois Physical Therapist (PT) License required if applicable BLS certification (AHA) required New graduates considered Epic charting experience required Level 1 Trauma center experience required Additional Information Evaluate and treat patients of all ages, adjusting plans of care as needed Serve as a clinical resource and role model for staff and students Design and adjust individualized plans of care integrating goals, treatment, and discharge planning Educate patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare providers Provide supervision and feedback to PTAs and rehabilitation technicians Collaborate with patients, families, and the medical team throughout the rehabilitation process Utilize standardized outcome measures and complete documentation per regulatory and organizational standards 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates not accepted RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract American Traveler Job ID P-696617.
