Details Acute care hospital therapy unit Treats patients of all ages with modifications to plan of care as needed Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday 8:30a-5:00p One weekend shift per month required No holiday shifts required 13-week contract EPIC charting required Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required Physical Therapist license required if applicable BLS certification (AHA) required ACLS and PALS certification (AHA) may be required New graduates considered EPIC EMR experience required Level 1 Trauma experience required Skilled in screening procedures, outcome measurement, clinical documentation, physical therapy diagnosis, and examination methods Experience supervising PTAs and rehabilitation support personnel Additional Information Evaluates and treats patients of all ages, designing and adjusting individualized plans of care based on patient response and evidence Serves as a clinical resource and role model for staff and students Performs patient examinations, screenings, and diagnoses using reliable and valid methods Provides education to patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare providers Supervises PTAs and rehabilitation technicians in accordance with regulatory standards Collaborates with medical team on patient status, transfer recommendations, and discharge planning Completes documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards Radius rule of 50 miles applies; local candidates within this radius are not eligible RTO not to exceed 7 total days during the 13-week contract American Traveler Job ID P-742463.
