Role Description This full-time, on-site Litigation Attorney role is based in Alpharetta, GA. The Litigation Attorney will handle a broad range of real estate and business-related disputes, including drafting and arguing motions, managing discovery, conducting depositions, and preparing matters for trial. Daily responsibilities include evaluating legal risks on transactions, advising internal stakeholders on litigation strategy, interacting with courts and opposing counsel, and coordinating with outside counsel when needed. The role also involves maintaining organized case files, monitoring deadlines, and ensuring that all litigation activities align with the firm’s long-term investment and asset protection objectives. Qualifications Strong foundation in Law, with demonstrated experience in real estate, commercial, or business litigation. Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and arguing Motions and other litigation pleadings. Experience working with Courts, including handling hearings, case filings, and procedural requirements. Direct involvement in Trials, including trial preparation, evidence organization, and courtroom advocacy. Hands-on experience conducting Depositions, preparing witnesses, and analyzing testimony. Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in Georgia (or ability to obtain promptly). Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and sound judgment. Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with investment and asset management teams. Prior experience with real estate transactions, lending, or asset management-related disputes is preferred.
