Exceptional, Unique, Independent – Boutique Hotel in Amherst, NY. The Reikart House, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is looking for a Banquet Server to become part of this Award-Winning Team! Apply in Person! @ Reikart House (5000 Main St., Amherst, NY 14226). Ask a Butler at the Front Desk for an Application! Essential Duties Read BEO and know how to complete a set-up. Set tables in assigned area correctly and uniformly. Keep station neat and clean while servicing guest per established policies and procedures. Make and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers following established guidelines, procedures and policies regarding beverage and safety controls as prescribed by company standards. Use proper in-room clearing and aisle tray break-down buffet or other special food service tables and equipment. Assist Banquet Captain in setting up/breaking down buffet or other special food service tables and equipment. Greet and serve guests following guidelines set by the policies/procedures regarding the service of food and beverage. Follow all guest check and money-handling procedures when serving a‑la‑c\arte and beverage orders. Complete assigned side work. Hours: Flexible; scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Requirements Previous experience as a banquet server/bartender required. Lifting and carrying cases of liquor, soda, ice and glasses. Must have experience in carrying a tray. Bending and kneeling to get and stock supplies and glassware. Reach and pour bottles, reach for glasses. Continuous standing behind bar to serve guests.
