Our culinary team brings that inventive spirit to life every day. As a Dishwasher, you'll play an essential role in keeping our kitchen clean, organized, sanitary, and ready to deliver the experience our guests expect.

As a Dishwasher, you'll help create the foundation for great service - one clean plate, organized station, and well-maintained work area at a time.

We're Looking for Someone Who:

• Takes pride in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment
• Is dependable and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
• Can understand and follow written, verbal, or demonstrated instructions
• Handles china, glassware, and kitchen equipment carefully to minimize breakage
• Understands the importance of sanitation, safety, and proper use of cleaning products
• Is comfortable standing, walking, lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift
• Works well as part of a team and is willing to assist other employees and departments as needed
• Is flexible and willing to complete cleaning and kitchen-support responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Do

• Gather, rinse, sort, and rack dirty dishware for washing
• Operate the commercial dishwashing machine safely and according to established procedures
• Monitor and properly use dishwashing detergents, chemicals, and cleaning solutions
• Unload, inspect, and properly store clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and equipment
• Manually scrub pots, pans, and kitchen equipment that cannot be washed in the dish machine
• Polish silver, stainless steel, and other food-service equipment as needed
• Keep the dish room clean and orderly by sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, wiping equipment and counters, and organizing shelves
• Mop kitchen floors and clean designated kitchen work surfaces and equipment as requested
• Gather and remove trash from kitchen work areas and transport it to designated disposal areas
• Help keep loading dock and kitchen entrance areas clean and free of litter and debris
• Assist with unloading, transporting, sorting, and storing deliveries when needed
• Provide assistance to other employees and departments to support the overall operation
• Perform other duties as assigned

The Ideal Candidate Is:

• Able to understand and follow written, verbal, or demonstrated instructions
• Careful and attentive when handling dishes, glassware, and fragile equipment
• Comfortable working around commercial dishwashing equipment and cleaning products
• Able to stay organized and productive in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
• Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to assist wherever needed
• Previous dishwashing or restaurant experience is helpful, but not required

Schedule

• Flexible schedule based on restaurant and business needs
• Scheduled days and times may vary based on business needs
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required

Physical Requirements

• Standing/Mobility: Standing, walking, and carrying throughout the shift in a hot kitchen and dishwashing environment
• Lifting/Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift
• Bending/Reaching: Ability to bend, squat, reach, and retrieve items from above the head
• Pushing/Pulling: Ability to push, pull, and move dish racks, carts, and large trash bins
• Dexterity: Finger, hand, and upper-body dexterity to grasp dishes and safely operate equipment
• Environment: Regular exposure to heat, moisture, commercial kitchen equipment, and cleaning chemicals
