About The Opportunity We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused HR Specialist to join a dynamic Human Resources team. This role provides support across a variety of HR functions, including employee services, benefits administration, payroll support, HR systems, and workforce management. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping employees, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and professionalism are essential. Job Description HR Specialist Pay: $25.00 per hour Schedule: Full-Time Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service through phone, email, and case management systems. Provide guidance and support regarding HR, payroll, benefits, and workforce management processes. Assist employees and managers with HR system transactions and self-service tools. Research and resolve inquiries while ensuring timely follow-up and customer satisfaction. Escalate complex issues to appropriate specialists when necessary. Process and maintain confidential employee records within HR systems. Support employee lifecycle transactions, including: New hires Terminations Promotions Compensation changes Leave of absence requests Benefits enrollments Direct deposit updates Payroll-related changes Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data and records. Assist with administration of employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability programs, wellness initiatives, and other company-sponsored benefits. Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and customer experience. Document and communicate trends, recurring issues, and process concerns. Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities. Collaborate with team members across multiple HR functions to ensure consistent service delivery. Maintain accurate case documentation and support issue resolution through case management systems. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in Human Resources, payroll, benefits administration, employee services, or a related field. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and empathetically. Experience working with HR systems such as Workday, PeopleSoft, or similar HRIS platforms. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Preferred Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience in a shared services, contact center, or employee support environment. Knowledge of HR, payroll, and benefits processes. Spanish language skills. Experience supporting process improvements and operational efficiencies. Why Join Us?
