Job Summary
Telemetry Nurse (RN) Salem, Massachusetts. This position involves float nursing across multiple Medical/Surgical Telemetry units, including ED, mental health, and ICU transfers. The role requires cardiac monitoring, reading tele strips, and managing cardiac drips, with an emphasis on flexibility to float to eight different units during night shifts and every other weekend.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Massachusetts RN License, American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification, 2 years of acute care hospital experience in one location, and 2 years of experience as a traveler
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with telemetry monitoring including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours, TR Band experience, and ability to perform cardiac drips and read tele strips
• Additional Information: Float throughout the hospital to all Med/Surg Tele areas including units such as Davenport 5, Davenport 7, Davenport 8, Davenport 9, Emergency Department, PH6/7, Pingree 4, and Overflow. Clinical staff will care for ED border patients, mental health medication patients, and non-vented ICU patients. The facility has 371 beds with units ranging from 8 to 41 beds, rotating between days, evenings, and nights. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC, and responsible clinicians will manage cardiac monitoring, drips, and tele strip reading.
