The Relationship Manager is primarily focused on building Commercial Lending relationships in the assigned market by active networking, establishing relationships with new business prospects, and growing existing customer relationships.What You'll DoLoan renewalsLoan modificationsAdministrative extensions (tasks to be shared with Portfolio Managers)Community Involvement (ie. serve on the board of a local non-profit, seat on the Chamber of Commerce, etc.)Relationship managementAnswering customer questions regarding deposits, loans, digital bankingCompletion of credit memos, deal structuring, pricing, movement/process on loans to get them through to completionCovenantsReview and assembly of data for an annual review of the relationshipWhat You BringA bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline is required.Five to ten years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.Why You'll Love Working HereAt BankSouth, we take care of our people the way we take care of our customers — with intention and generosity.
