What You'll Do:

• Support cardiothoracic surgery teams during urgent and elective procedures
• Assist with vein harvesting and other specialized surgical procedures
• Provide patient care pre- and post-operatively in ICU and recovery settings
• Collaborate with surgeons, ANPs, and staff in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Respond to 24-hour call, with an average of 4 hours callback per day
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
• Facilitate patient transfers from ICU to discharge or other care units

What You Need:

Required:

• PA license and DEA registration
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery or related acute care
• Strong ability to work night shifts and handle call responsibilities

Preferred:

• Certification in acute care (not mandatory)
• Experience with EPIC EMR system and vein harvesting procedures

About the Assignment: Support the cardiothoracic surgery department at a leading hospital with 163 beds in Lebanon, PA. You'll be integral to urgent surgery coverage, transitioning patients from the cath lab to surgery, and assisting with critical procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
