Novant Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join East Cooper Breast Specialists, which is part of our East Cooper Physician Group in Charleston, SC. Responsibilities Demonstrates critical thinking skills for problem solving and anticipating patient care needs. Documents assessments, delivery of care and patient’s response to care in the medical record. Provides information and facilitates patient/family teaching. Participates in performance improvement initiatives to improve processes and outcomes. Demonstrates accountability for ongoing learning needs, completion of annual education requirements and competencies. Qualifications Education: Associates Degree in Nursing Required, Bachelors Degree Preferred. Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse within a medical practice setting. Licensure/Certification: RN required. Must have current valid SC nursing license. Additional Skills: Knowledge of using medical equipment including stethoscope, scales, and blood pressure cuff, etc. Knowledge of Electronic Health Systems. Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT codes. Knowledge of the policies and procedures of a clinic sufficient to provide effective patient care.
