Travel Physical Therapist

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of experience for a split inpatient/outpatient role across two locations in western Colorado.

Job Details

• Split schedule: Monday and Friday inpatient shifts at a hospital in Glenwood Springs, CO; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at an outpatient clinic in Carbondale, CO,
• 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts,
• 13-week contract,
• Responsibilities span inpatient and outpatient physical therapy settings,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of PT experience required; 3-5 years preferred,
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required,
• Current Colorado PT license (DORA) or Compact license valid for Colorado required,
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required,
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible,
• DOB or SSN required for consideration,
• Active CO or Compact PT license required for consideration (license required if applicable),
• Flu vaccine required; no exemptions accepted,

• Responsibilities include evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans for a variety of diagnoses,
• Focus areas include improving patients' strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and overall function,
• Role includes educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs,
• Position was created to help reduce patient wait times due to increased volume in the rehab department,
