Registered Veterinary Technician Location Nebel Street Animal Hospital - Rockville, MD Qualifications Must hold a valid Maryland RVT state license. Pay & Benefits Wage range $28 - $32 /hr. $1,000 sign on bonus. $1,500 annual CE allowance plus dedicated CE PTO. 3 weeks PTO. Dentistry: full‑mouth dental radiography, charting, and periodontal therapy (per DVM direction). Diagnostics: high‑quality radiography/positioning, in‑house lab analysis, and sample collection. Nursing & triage: critical patient monitoring, advanced wound care, and managing catheters/feeding tubes. Workflow leadership: leading tech appointments, team huddles, and mentoring assistants/externs. Growth & Schedule Growth paths: paid precepting, skill check‑offs tied to ladder milestones, leadership training. Schedule: full‑time with flexible scheduling options (choose 4 ten‑hour or 5 eight‑hour shifts) and a predictable weekend rotation. Tools: modern equipment including digital DR, dental radiography, in‑house lab, infusion pumps, and multi‑parameter monitors.
