Construction Manager ( Custom Homes )

Location: Charlotte, NC (also covering Monroe, NC) | Schedule: Full-time, on-site/multi-site | Compensation: Competitive salary and bonus structure, DOE, potential of $100k++ per year Overview A regional single-family home builder with a small-company feel but strong corporate support infrastructure is seeking a Project Manager/Superintendent to oversee new custom-home construction across multiple jobsite locations. The company builds semi-custom and custom homes directly with individual homeowners on their own property, and this role is central to keeping builds on schedule, on budget, and to a high standard of quality. What you'll do Serve as onsite/multi-site Project Manager for custom-designed homes built on individual homeowner properties in Charlotte, NC and Monroe, NC Plan and schedule subcontractors to be onsite as needed to meet build-time requirements Maintain over-communication with customers and subcontractors to ensure the highest satisfaction Manage construction sites from design and preconstruction through subcontractor selection, contract execution, safety management, and scheduling through certificate of occupancy Ensure budget and schedule are met while closely monitoring construction quality Manage multiple projects simultaneously (typically 8-10) with average home prices ranging from $525,000 to $625,000 Required qualifications Experience in residential construction, with new-home building required 4+ year proven track record of successful operations and project leadership within New Construction Strong team-building skills and excellent communication abilities with customers/owners Preferred qualifications Experience with custom homes preferred Experience in On-Your-Lot or scattered lot building preferred Compensation and benefits Competitive salary and bonus structure (DOE), with potential of $100k++ per year 401K Paid Vacation Days Insurance, with the company paying half of employee costs Car and phone allowance of $13,000/year Focus on work/life balance Why this role This is a stable, growing opportunity with a company that emphasizes personality and communication as much as production metrics, offers extensive back-office and training support, and provides clear career growth paths from Project Manager toward General Manager, Regional President, and corporate advancement. #J-18808-Ljbffr
