Description

• Conduct evaluations for individuals spanning from children to seniors using established assessments and observational methods.
• Create tailored treatment plans to address both immediate goals and comprehensive communication, cognitive, or swallowing issues.
• Deliver personalized one-on-one speech therapy focused on language, communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills.
• Collaborate seamlessly with physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, families, and caregivers to forge effective care strategies.
• Provide education for patients and their families to support developmental progress beyond clinical sessions.
• Manage occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy sessions, ensuring cohesive care throughout the rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in adherence with all regulatory standards and organizational protocols.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with innovations in the field through peer collaboration and educational opportunities.

Education

• Possession of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Certifications

• Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 30 days of employment.
