Assess patients from pediatric to geriatric groups utilizing standardized evaluations and observation methods.

Create tailored treatment plans that address both short and long-term goals related to communication, cognition, or swallowing.

Deliver individualized speech therapy targeted at communication, language, fluency, speech production, and swallowing issues.

Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, medical staff, families, and caretakers to develop integrated care plans.

Provide education to patients and their families to support progress beyond the confines of therapy sessions.

Conduct occasional inpatient evaluations and therapies to ensure seamless continuity of care.

Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards.

Engage in ongoing professional development and peer collaboration to stay abreast of the latest treatment modalities.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the first 30 days of employment.

Expertise in evidence-based treatment methods across age segments, with a strong grasp of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional communication skills enabling effective interactions with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Flexibility in adapting therapy methods to cater to diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Strong clinical insight and problem-solving capabilities.

Proficiency in using electronic medical records and adherence to documentation protocols.
