Relocation Coordinator

Job Title: Relocation Coordinator Location: Buffalo, NY Type: Contract (approx. 24 - 48 months) Compensation: $23.00 per hour Work Model: Onsite Hours: 40.0 About this Role Join a dedicated team as a Relocation Counselor and play a crucial role in supporting families and individuals throughout the relocation process. Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for administering the relocation process's various phases for residents who qualify for relocation services. Oversee the delivery of relocation services and benefits to residents and their families, ensuring high-quality service using CVR’s best practices and standards. Proactively provide ongoing advice and support to the Development Team and residents, maintaining regular contact throughout the relocation period. Conduct thorough needs assessments at the start of the relocation process to establish resident requirements and address individual needs. Work with residents and their families to ensure all needs are understood and met, adjusting services and counseling as needs evolve. Guide residents and families through the location selection process, managing and monitoring the home/unit-finding process. Perform timely and accurate data input and manage all opportunities through completion. Oversee resident moves onsite, coordinating with moving companies, acting as liaison between movers, residents, and property management, and reviewing invoices for payments and reimbursements. Review and evaluate exception requests and challenging situations, providing solutions and recommendations to residents and the Project Manager. Document conversations, expenses, and correspondence accurately in CVR’s SharePoint system, maintaining data integrity and adhering to privacy policies. Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred Direct client interaction and advisory experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions Strong attention to detail Excellent customer service skills Knowledge and ability to use standard office equipment (PC, calculator, etc.) Knowledge of the Internet/web Willingness to learn about affordable housing policies and Housing Choice Voucher regulations, policies, and procedures Ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels while remaining flexible, proactive, and maintaining professionalism and confidentiality Ability to work independently, tracking and managing multiple projects Strong judgment and problem-solving skills Ability to compose, edit, and proofread correspondence, summaries, etc. Knowledge of general office procedures (filing, correspondence, scheduling) Bi-lingual – Spanish is a plus System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
