HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit
• Discipline: RN
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 48 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days, nights
• Employment Type: Travel

Type of equipment – IV pumps, Skylift, PCA pump, Chest tube, Trachs, Patient lifts

· EMR - Cerner

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

· ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

· Neuro and Trauma Care experience

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· Neuro and Trauma Care experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):   

· Neuro and spinal checks

· C-Collar placement, TLSO braces

· Chest tube, PCA pump, IV infusions

· Lumber drain

· Feeding tube placement

· Blood transfusion

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

· ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Floating Area(s):

· Stepdown units, Med-surg units
