Water Resources Design Engineer

Title: Water Resources Design Engineer Industry: Water and Wastewater Treatment Design Location: Somerset County, NJ (Fully onsite with potential for Hybrid later) Reports To: VP of Water Resources Department Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 DOE Relocation: Not offered Travel: Possibly up to 25% for client meetings and field visits Ideal Candidate Background

• BS in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering (Master's not required but is a plus)
• PE not required (but is a plus)
• 5+ years of Water Resources Engineering experience
• Experience with AutoCAD, Excel, and Project
• Well organized and able to communicate well (intercompany and with clients)
• Prior experience with municipal water and wastewater treatment
• Positive and upbeat attitude with a willingness to collaborate and grow your knowledge (and career)
• Ability to immediately contribute effectively to water resources design projects with a high degree of independence, while collaborating closely with senior staff and project teams as needed.

• Work with a team in the development and delivery of water/wastewater treatment and conveyance projects including hydraulic and process evaluations, detailed design, and construction administration.
• Preparation of reports and findings, design plans and specifications, cost estimates and contract documents.
• Monitor and document project progress
• Provide support to project bidding
• Ability to handle multiple projects at once
• Able to participate in client meetings and field visits/services
