Schedule: Must have availability for night shifts starting at 3:00 PM daily and weekend brunch shifts starting at 10:00 AM.

Casa Felix is a NEW modern Mexican restaurant opening in Chelsea, NYC — a warm, high-energy restaurant and bar inspired by Mexico City, tequila & mezcal culture, and the spirit of celebration.

We are looking for friendly, polished, and hospitality-driven Servers to join our opening team and help create a memorable guest experience from arrival to farewell.

Servers at Casa Felix are responsible for delivering warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and efficient service in a high-energy restaurant and bar environment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with guests, working as part of a team, selling food and beverage confidently, and maintaining service standards during busy brunch, dinner, late-night, weekend, and private event periods.

The right candidate should be professional, upbeat, organized, calm under pressure, and comfortable working in a fast-paced NYC restaurant setting.

• Provide warm, polished, and attentive service to all guests.
• Greet guests promptly and make them feel welcome, comfortable, and cared for.
• Guide guests through the menu, including food, cocktails, tequila, mezcal, wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, specials, and allergens.
• Anticipate guest needs throughout service and respond with urgency and professionalism.
• Handle guest questions, special requests, dietary restrictions, and service concerns appropriately.
• Support the overall energy, atmosphere, and hospitality style of Casa Felix.
• Create memorable guest experiences that encourage repeat visits.

• Follow all Casa Felix steps of service, including greeting, menu presentation, ordering, coursing, table maintenance, check-backs, check presentation, and farewell.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen, bar, managers, hosts, runners, bussers, and support staff.
• Maintain proper pacing of food and beverage service.
• Monitor tables throughout the shift to ensure guests have everything they need.
• Assist with running food and beverages when needed.
• Pre-bus and maintain clean, organized, and polished tables throughout service.
• Reset tables quickly and correctly for the next guests.

• Maintain strong knowledge of the food menu, ingredients, preparation methods, flavor profiles, allergens, and dietary accommodations.
• Develop strong knowledge of the cocktail program, tequila and mezcal selections, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic offerings.
• Confidently describe menu items and make thoughtful recommendations.
• Use suggestive selling to enhance the guest experience and support revenue goals.
• Stay informed on daily specials, menu changes, unavailable items, private events, and service notes.
• Follow all responsible alcohol service standards.

• Work closely with FOH, BOH, bar, management, and support teams to ensure smooth service.
• Communicate guest needs, allergies, timing requests, complaints, and special occasions clearly and promptly.
• Support teammates during busy service periods.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings, tastings, training sessions, and service updates.
• Maintain a positive, respectful, team-first attitude.
• Assist with side work, resets, polishing, stocking, cleaning, and service support as needed.

• Complete all opening, running, and closing side work accurately and on time.
• Maintain clean and organized service stations, dining room areas, server stations, POS areas, and guest-facing spaces.
• Polish glassware, silverware, and plateware as needed.
• Restock menus, napkins, condiments, service tools, and supplies.
• Follow uniform, grooming, punctuality, and professionalism standards.
• Ensure tables, chairs, floors, menus, and guest areas remain clean and presentable throughout service.

• Follow all NYC Department of Health, sanitation, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
• Follow proper food handling and allergy communication procedures.
• Comply with company policies, cash handling procedures, POS standards, and workplace expectations.
• Report guest incidents, safety concerns, spills, breakage, equipment issues, or service problems to management immediately.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful work environment.

• Minimum 2–3 years of serving experience in a full-service restaurant, bar, hotel, or hospitality environment preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume NYC restaurant is strongly preferred.
• Strong guest service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Comfortable selling food, cocktails, tequila, mezcal, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Must be available for night shifts starting at 3:00 PM daily.
• Must be available for weekend brunch shifts starting at 10:00 AM.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, carry trays, and move quickly for long periods.
• Must be reliable, punctual, professional, polished, and team-oriented.

• Experience in cocktail-driven, tequila/mezcal-focused, Mexican, Latin, nightlife-inspired, or high-energy restaurant concepts.
• Knowledge of tequila, mezcal, cocktails, wine, and beverage service.
• Experience with POS systems such as Toast, Aloha, Micros, or similar platforms.
• Experience with Resy, SevenRooms, OpenTable, or similar reservation platforms is a plus.
• NYC Food Protection Certificate or alcohol awareness certification is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
