Business Systems Administrator

Job SummaryThe Business Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, support, and optimization of the company’s business applications and underlying IT systems, with a focus on ERP platforms such as Epicor Kinetic. This role ensures the reliability, performance, and security of critical systems while aligning technology with business processes. The Business Systems Administrator works closely with stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and support continuous improvement across enterprise systems.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister, support, and optimize business applications, with a primary focus on Epicor Kinetic ERPConfigure and maintain system environments, including servers, operating systems, and application platforms that support business systemsMonitor system and application performance; troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure high availability and reliabilityManage user access, roles, and security settings across ERP and related systemsSupport ERP-related processes such as updates, patches, customizations, and integrationsCollaborate with business units to gather requirements, improve workflows, and implement system enhancementsSupport system reporting structure (SSRS/Power BI)Ensure system security through proper configuration, monitoring, and adherence to IT policiesDevelop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and proceduresPartner with IT and external vendors on projects, upgrades, and ongoing system improvementsProvide end-user support and training for ERP and other business applicationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be consideredMinimum 3 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in IT supportStrong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments, and cloud technologies.Solid of processes and their dependencies within an ERP application: financial, engineering, purchasing, inventory management, manufacturing operations.Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems, preferably Salesforce & Epicor KineticExcellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Core CompetenciesHTML/C# CompetencyPower BI, Excel, Web Portals, SSRS and Web AppsTroubleshooting & Problem SolvingUser Support & TrainingDocumentation & Process ManagementCollaboration & CommunicationTechnical Analysis & Planning #J-18808-Ljbffr MANITEX INC
