Nursing Scheduler Join Highland Springs Post Acute in Highland Springs, VA We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Nursing Scheduler to join our team at Highland Springs Post Acute in Highland Springs, VA. As a key member of our facility's staffing team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily schedule. About the Role: As a Nursing Scheduler, you will be responsible for scheduling staff to meet the needs of our facility. Your duties will include:
- Scheduling staff to ensure optimal staffing levels and coverage
- Monitoring overtime, open shifts, and working with the nursing management team to review the daily, weekly, and monthly schedule
- Reviewing paid time off requests with the nursing management team
- Working closely with the HR department to review position vacancies and maintaining knowledge of Excel spreadsheets
- Ensuring the company's labor requirement and PPD are met, and completing staffing reports
- Collaborating with the nursing management team to monitor and adjust the schedule as needed
- Pay Range $20-$25 based upon experience
- Medical, Dental, Vision
- Paid Time Off, including Sick in accordance with VA State Law
- Prior healthcare staffing experience required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets
