Company Description First Coast Audiology and First Coast Brain Builders are two integrated practices providing comprehensive hearing and speech services to individuals in Ponte Vedra Beach and our new location coming to World Golf Village. The team includes experienced audiologists and a speech pathologist who work with both adults and children to improve auditory health and communication. The practices focus on patient-centered care, with an emphasis on enhancing daily functioning and supporting long-term brain health. First Coast Audiology values collaboration, education, and personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Audiologist position serving our Ponte Vedra Beach and World Golf Village locations. As a member of our team, you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered hearing healthcare with an emphasis on evidence-based diagnosis, treatment, and long-term auditory wellness. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive adult hearing evaluations, including diagnostic audiologic testing, speech-in-noise testing, and interpretation of results. You will evaluate and manage hearing loss while developing individualized treatment plans that address each patient's unique communication needs. Experience with tinnitus, hyperacusis, and auditory processing disorders is a plus but not required—we are committed to providing ongoing training and mentorship for the right candidate. The role includes fitting, programming, verifying, and maintaining hearing aids using best practices, including real-ear measurements. You will provide counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing loss, communication strategies, hearing protection, and auditory rehabilitation while supporting patients throughout their hearing healthcare journey. You’ll collaborate closely with our audiology team, speech-language pathologist, physicians, and other healthcare providers to deliver coordinated care. Additional responsibilities include documenting clinical findings, participating in follow-up care to optimize patient outcomes, and helping expand our specialty programs in tinnitus management, auditory processing, auditory training, and hearing rehabilitation. Qualifications Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) Current Florida Audiology license (or eligibility for licensure). Strong clinical audiology skills, including comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing aid fitting, programming, verification, and real-ear measurements. Excellent communication and counseling skills with the ability to explain test results, treatment recommendations, and care plans in a clear, compassionate, and patient-centered manner. Commitment to evidence-based practice and delivering exceptional patient care. Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, speech-language pathologists, and other members of the healthcare team. Interest in tinnitus management, auditory processing, auditory rehabilitation, and expanding clinical expertise in these areas. Prior experience is welcomed but not required.
