This position is 7a-3p with rotating weekends

The Restorative Nursing Assistant- RNA is responsible for providing direct, hands-on care to residents to ensure residents attain or maintain the highest possible physical, mental, and emotional well-being possible for each resident without declines in status unless the decline is documented as unavoidable.

Responsibilities:

• Reports to and performs those duties as assigned by the Restorative Nursing Supervisor.

• Has been given additional training in the area of rehabilitation.

• Demonstrates proficiency in motivating patients to participate in and complete restorative programs.

• Participates in care plan meetings.

• Demonstrates acceptable skill proficiency in those areas of restorative nursing which the Facility has determined it will make available to its residents.

• Maintains consistent patient care schedule and is efficient in use of time. Coordinates restorative treatments with other facility departments.

• Able to perform duties with a minimum of supervision.

• Identifies potential problems/issues and reports to supervisor in a timely manner.

• Arrives and leaves on time and has a minimum of absences.

• Maintains a professional attitude and appearance.

Requirements for Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA)   :

• Must have RNA certification

• A high school diploma or equivalent.

• Must hold current CNA Certification 

• Current First Aid and CPR.

• Must work weekends
