Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 16 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 4 years of Operating Room experience required License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Client experience Transplant experience General Surgery experience GYN experience Orthopedic experience Description: SENSITIVE UNIT: Please ensure the candidate has reviewed all details in the job description. HARD STOP: 4 years of Operating Room experience prior to travel. Unit does not accept first-time travelers. Guaranteed hours are not provided. Compliance with all requirements is mandatory to start on time. If not compliant on time, onboarding may be delayed. NO HOLIDAY requests will be approved during specific blackout dates. Unit services include various specialties such as Bariatrics, Urology, Client, ENT, Oral, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN & Orthopedics. Weekend and call schedules will be discussed during the interview. Floating within facility/scope of practice may be required as needed. Patient age groups primarily include adults and geriatrics. This role involves working with interdisciplinary support teams including Physical Therapy and Pharmacy. Candidates will be reviewed clinically to ensure a good fit for the unit. All requests for time off must be finalized at the time of submission. No holiday time off can be requested during the assignment. If 1-2 holidays fall during the assignment, time off will not be granted. If 3 holidays fall during the assignment, 1 holiday time off may be considered. All compliance documents must be submitted prior to the start date to ensure timely onboarding.
