Job Opportunity – Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 13-week assignment with 3 weekend shifts required per contract; AM and PM shifts require 2 call shifts per 6 weeks; self-scheduling environment

Highlights:

• Active 16-bed Labor and Delivery unit with average daily census of 15 patients plus 6-bed triage
• 1:1 to 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios across all shifts
• Epic EMR system (experience required); additional systems include Pyxis and SBAR
• Diverse case mix including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, multiple births, postpartum hemorrhage, pregnancy-induced hypertension, and D&C procedures
• Team-based collaborative environment with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract (must be finalized at time of submission)

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience required; previous travel experience required
• Active Georgia or Compact state RN license required at time of submission
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP required; AWHONN Intermediate preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratios
• Must be available to work required holidays based on assignment dates
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccination not required
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date; all core items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Willingness to perform vital sign checks and blood glucose monitoring
• Ability to float within facility and scope of practice as needed
