Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Manufacturing Facility Patrol Driver in Elkton, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. - Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare-related location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures.
- Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Proof of high school diploma or equivalent is required
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
